Meet Joe Accordino

Joe Accordino spent 10 years at ESPN producing some of the biggest sports events, including Monday Night Football, the World Cup, and the PGA Championship. In 2020, he won an Emmy Award for his graphics production work on Monday Night Football.

Joe brought the same eye for presentation and preparation to the world of college golf recruiting when he co-founded Athlos.

What Joe does at Athlos is straightforward: he helps junior golfers tell their story in a way that college coaches actually notice. That means knowing how to build a recruiting profile, write a coach email that gets read, and put together a highlight reel that does its job. Those aren't golf skills. They're communication skills, and Joe spent a decade sharpening them at the highest level in sports media.

Since co-founding Athlos, Joe has guided more than 60 junior golfers through the recruiting process. His students have landed at Ivy League programs, Division III schools, and UC campuses, among others.
